I know I'm posting a review really late when Teennick airs an episode before I review it.
It's been so long I forgot how to set up a review... Sadly since I waited so long to write this it's going to just be a quick hit...
Okay, so. Best episode of the season. So far, anyway, we'll see if that changes after Heart Like Mine. This one gets an A an my book. I am loving season 9. The people who gave up on this show are really missing out. THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR 907 AND 908. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW, TURN BACK NOW.

1. I think that's because I'm almost done with all the labor-intensive things that need doing this semester. To put in perspective, I had a presentation to do last Wednesday (beasted it!) for American Cuisine, a presentation to do the Tuesday before that (chyeaaaaah) for Meat Cutting, and this Wednesday, for Catering, I have to execute an event. This Wednesday I also have an interview for a job that I technically already have.
2. So, about that event. It's for the Provost of the college, and as I was in the office on Thursday, talking to her secretary--a very cool lady--my boss from Admissions down the hall bursts in and asks what I'm doing in there. Turns out that she and two of the other secretaries are going to be at my dinner. Woo-hoo-hoo.
3. ( My menu for Wednesday. Asterisk indicates what I still need a recipe for. )
4. I have a pair of notorious ass-clowns as my line cooks that night. Excellent. And I'll have to teach one of the servers to properly clear a table and load a tray, to make everyone's life easier.
5. The date went great. Wonderfully! He is such a sweet guy, I swear, and we sat in the car in the parking lot afterward, before we went back to our dorm, trying to talk and literally passing the very awkward ball back and forth because we didn't know what to say.
He liked my hair. I liked his hands.

Guys, I'm working on the FAQ for neo_rpg's 4th Wall Event, and I'd appreciate feedback from current players and outsiders alike.
( Cut for fucking long FAQ. )

You ever have one of those days where you dress up, look in the mirror, and think, "Dammmn I clean up good"? Oh yeah. That's how I feel now.
Answers to the Guess-the-book meme:
1. The Garden and the Workshop: A Cultural History of Vienna and Budapest by Péter Hanák. (Yes, I am a sad fangirl!) 2. Sun Signs by Linda Goodman. 3. Possession by A.S. Byatt. (It was fifty cents, I've always meant to read it, I picked it up.) 4. Deathstalker by Simon R. Green. ( pentatonikk, you should totally read it. So. Much. Crack.)

November 13, 2009 Due to family medical issues, I have been “missing” for a while. If you turned in a paper, discussion posts, or have completed quizzes on the Thinkwell site, I will be updating your grades for this over the weekend. These grades will be up by Monday at noon. I will also be setting all of the chapter exams for 2 attempts on Monday. This is my way to pay you back for your patience. I am sorry I have been “absent” for so long. Chris
Well, you certainly won't hear me complaining. I fully intend to retake the Unit 1 and 2 exams, especially to see if I can bump the unit 1 exam up from its 92%.

Gahhhh, how much do I love this last ep of Fringe? It was all about fathers and sons and families and a side of X-FIles creepiness and...;aogf;adjg;sldkjg;lakdjfgkb\srd,nkf tinfoil hats and Peter's teddy bear
this show, how it it so excellent? Last week's was pretty good, too, another very X-Files-y case, featuring Walter Bishop saying "I've been thinking too linearly" (which was number one on my personal list of "accurate statements you never thought you'd hear from Walter Bishop") and then breaking out the Tinkertoys.

Seriously, I think this'll make me hate anyone I ever meet who happens to be named Sherry, or Sheri, or any variant thereof.
The worst part? I get to listen to it every fucking time I go to work. But at least they only play it once a day (shift?).
[EDIT: Outlaw Star and Somewhere Over the Rainbow. And it actually works!
